Get on-site training with nursing home experience
Your training includes hands-on learning at a simulated nursing home set up at our training centre, where you’ll be guided through a variety of caregiving situations. You’ll learn tasks catering to a range of health conditions and comprehensive home care of the elderly. Gain the skills to understand the mental as well as physical needs of your care recipients.

Caregiver Course
Learn the skills and support you need to care for those who need assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs). iKare offers two comprehensive caregiver’s training courses:
Advanced Caregiving Course

- For Domestic Helpers & family caregivers
- 8 modules; 8 Hours of training (4 Hours x 2 Days) at our training centre
- 2 Hours of post-course evaluation at home (only for iKare members)
- Focused on hands-on skills
- Certificate of Attendance provided
Certified Caregiving Course (Eldercare)
S$ 2200
- For anyone who wishes to learn in-depth caregiving skills and knowledge
- 12 modules; 20 Hours of training (4 Hours x 5 Days) at our training centre
- 2 weeks of on-the-job training
- Written test + skills assessment test
- Certificate of Proficiency awarded upon passing all tests

This is an in-depth training course where you’ll learn how to:
- Ensure your family member’s safety at home
- Monitor vital signs such as blood pressure and temperature
- Provide essential first aid for wounds or injuries
- Assist care recipients in Activities of Daily Living (ADL) such as dressing and undressing, showering, and oral care
- Help care recipients stay healthy through a healthy diet, exercise, and using mobility aids
- Communicate with care recipients to build trust and help them maintain a positive mood
